Body filler

• The procedure is done under local anesthesia so you avoid the discomfort that general anesthesia can often cause ifa. nausea, dizziness and lightheadedness.
• Treatment with body fillers is faster and requires much less recovery time than surgery. For example, with an operation you cannot train for several months, while with fillers this period is shortened to a couple of weeks.
• When fat cells are transplanted, the volume will be reduced because some fat cells die, when treated with fillers, the volume remains the same after the treatment.
• The filler lasts for several years.
• You can add more filler when treating hip dips with Hyacorp/Genefill so that you "manage" the volume/size of the bum better than with surgery.

The treatment is carried out under local anaesthetic. This means that you are awake during the entire procedure and can leave the clinic alone afterwards. We recommend that you arrive well in advance of the procedure, at least 30 minutes. You then get a little sedative and a little painkiller to help you relax.

During the procedure, you lie on your back/stomach and are covered with blankets and sterile cloths, while the doctors fill the filler in the desired area. At the end of the procedure, you get to see the result, while we still have some filler to make adjustments so that the result is the way you want it.

After the operation, you will have time to relax in the clinic, before you can go home.

After the procedure, the filler will feel a little hard for the first few weeks, but this will go away so that they feel completely natural.

With HA-filler treatment, you wear tape for the first week, and after 2 weeks you can resume normal activity. No compression noise is required. After 1 week, 1 month, 3 months and 6 months, you will be called in for a check-up with the doctors.

Possible side effects include temporary reactions at the injection site, e.g.

• Redness
• Sweling
• Itching
• Pain
• Stinging/banging
• Firmness/unevenness
• Bruises
• Discomfort

Disse reaksjonene kan oppstå rett etter eller i etterkant av behandling og kan vare i 1-2 uker. Ved alle stikk gjennom hudbarrieren er det alltid en fare for infeksjon. Filler kan migrere, og dog lav er det en risiko for fillerembolus, blindhet, granulom, hudnekrose ved injeksjon i en blodåre.

There are many manufacturers of fillers and some are more and less well-known. We have selected our favorites based on duration, low tendency to lump, and how they are to work with.

You cannot drink alcohol 2 weeks before or 2 weeks after the treatment.

You cannot smoke/use nicotine 2 weeks before or 2 weeks after the treatment.

You should not go to public baths, spas, saunas/saunas for the first 2 weeks after treatment.

We recommend that you wait to exercise until you receive approval from your esthetician.

We do everything we can to achieve the best result so that you are satisfied with the treatment. The vast majority are very satisfied, and the most common reason they return is if they want a "top-up" or a larger volume. Yes, altitude and air pressure do not affect the result after treatment with body filler. If you have had buttock augmentation, flights lasting many hours should be postponed as you should not put a lot of pressure on the treated area for the first 2 weeks.
